Frequently asked
Can the other person reply through it too?
They can hand the phone back and you can switch languages, but the smoother flow for a back-and-forth conversation is Two-way mode, which detects who is speaking automatically.
Does it need internet?
Yes. The model that gives you natural-sounding translation runs in our cloud, so a stable connection (Wi-Fi or 4G) is required.
What about dialects?
Recognition handles most regional accents in the supported languages well. The synthesised voice on the listener side uses a neutral standard variant.
