Live interpreter for your online meetings

An interpreter bot joins your Teams, Google Meet, Zoom or Webex meeting and translates live in both directions. Everyone just speaks their own language.

The meeting interpreter puts a live translator inside the meetings you already have. Paste the invite link and our interpreter bot asks to join your Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom or Webex meeting like any other guest. Once the host admits it, everything said in the meeting is translated live in both directions. You speak your language, the other participants speak theirs, and everyone follows the conversation in a language they understand. Nobody else installs a plugin, creates an account or changes how they join.

When to use it

Common situations where this mode is the right pick.

  • Client calls across borders

Pitch, negotiate and present to clients in their own language, without hiring an interpreter or falling back on broken English.

  • International teams

Standups, project reviews and all-hands where not everyone shares a fluent common language. Every voice actually gets heard.

  • Parent-teacher meetings online

Schools meet families in the language spoken at home. The details about a child's progress come through correctly.

  • Town halls and public sessions

Local government, community boards and residents' meetings become accessible to every language group in the room, live.

  • Supplier and partner reviews

Quarterly calls with overseas factories, agencies or distributors, each side in its own working language.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste the meeting link

Copy the invite link from Teams, Google Meet, Zoom or Webex, paste it in, and pick the two languages spoken in the meeting.

  2. 2

    Admit the interpreter

The bot appears in the meeting lobby like any other guest. The host lets it in, exactly as they would a colleague.

  3. 3

    Just talk

Everything said in the meeting is translated live in both directions. Everyone keeps their usual meeting app, and nobody installs anything.

Frequently asked

Which meeting platforms are supported?
The interpreter joins Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and Webex, plus Slack huddles, GoTo Meeting, Whereby, Skype, BlueJeans, RingCentral and Discord. Paste the full invite link and the platform is detected automatically.
Do the other participants need to install anything?
No. The interpreter joins as a normal participant that the host admits from the lobby. Nobody installs software or creates an account, and everyone keeps using their usual meeting app.
How do participants hear the translation?
The interpreter speaks the translation into the meeting audio itself, so everyone hears it right in the call. Your lingua.direct panel also shows a live transcript of both sides as the meeting runs.
How long can the interpreter stay in a meeting?
As long as your plan supports. Meeting time draws from your usage credit like any other mode, so the interpreter can sit in for a quick sync or a full-length session.
