lingua.direct is a service of Invenix, Gansbaan 71, 6231 LN Meerssen, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 51997991). By using lingua.direct you agree to these terms.

The service

lingua.direct translates spoken and written language in real time, in your browser, on phone calls and in the mobile app. Features, supported languages and prices may evolve over time; material changes that affect paid plans are announced in advance.

Your account

Most features require an account. An account is personal and meant for one user; keep your access secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

Plans, credit and renewal

Paid usage is metered in translated minutes, either through a subscription or prepaid credit. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Prepaid credit remains available as long as your account is active.

Right of withdrawal (EU)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on purchases. Because translation minutes are delivered immediately at your request, you consent to immediate performance when you buy. If you withdraw within 14 days, we refund what you paid minus the value of the minutes you already used.

Fair use

Plans with unlimited translation minutes are intended for the normal, personal use of one person: live conversations, calls, meetings and files you actually need translated. They do not cover sharing or reselling access, automated or scripted usage, or continuous bulk processing. If usage falls far outside normal personal use, we will contact you first; if it does not change, we may slow the account down, move it to metered pricing or end the plan with a refund of the unused remainder.

Cancellation, termination and refunds

You can stop using lingua.direct at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. Whenever we end a plan, we refund the unused part of the current subscription period and any unused prepaid credit. Only fraud, payment abuse or unlawful use forfeits this refund.

Translation accuracy

Translations are produced by automatic speech recognition and machine translation. They can be wrong, incomplete or delayed. Do not rely on lingua.direct as your only channel where a mistranslation could cause harm, such as emergencies or medical, legal or safety-critical communication. Always verify important information.

Acceptable use

Do not use lingua.direct for unlawful content or purposes, to violate the rights of others, to harass anyone, or to probe, overload or disrupt the service.
